16A

Five ways I think I have human capital:
1.     Competitiveness- I am driven to try and accomplish anything along with trying to be the best at the task, person, or business. I think when I was playing sports when I was younger this helped.
2.     Punctuality- I am never late to any meetings, class, or events. I think this is crucial when perusing a person to include in on a business because you can rely on them and trust that they will follow through.
3.     Consistence- this particular one is important because switching up the routines, or workflow can cause problems along with not being able to achieve that goal or quota.
4.     Approachable- people have said to me that it is easy talking to me along with just having a great conversation. This can enhance the work force by being able to talk to customers or clients.
5.     Deliberative- for this one it can be a positive and negative just because it can take me awhile to make a choice, but when I do, I am comfortable with my choice.

Reflection-
I thought of what my friends and family were saying about me is what I sort of thought in mind. The third person, my friend Chris said that I can literally talk to anyone and I recently have noticed it and I think it can help with being an entrepreneur and gaining information. Lastly my brother, Erol he is extremely motivating, and his video opened my eyes on the bigger picture that I can do anything when I set my mind to it. I thought truly they were all accurate about my personality especially my best friend Ashleigh.

Assignment 15A- Figuring Out Buyers Behavior #2

Assignment 15A- Figuring Out Buyers Behavior #2
Reports finding and Drawn Conclusions:
In the three interviews I conducted I learned a little bit more of the scope of my audience. I knew coming into this idea that the marketing and advertisement will be a strong component to excel this business idea. My first-person Sarah discussed how she goes about choosing a service or product. She goes on yelp or any type of review to see if the establishment is within standards. I broke down the prices briefly and told her that this is a competitive market so if my team and I had to change the price it could be negotiable. She like that idea. The quality of my business in the rehabilitation center would have to be in the up most cleanliness and great supportive staff to be able to motivate the patients.
The second person I interviewed recommended that the price would be a huge factor involving health insurance too. I have looked at this from his perspective being a public company verses a private, it is something to consider opening up the market. Also, with the expansion, he said that the form of operations needs to be consistent throughout the establishment. This particular person has some background knowledge in the corporate America lifestyle.
The third person I interviewed specifically wanted to focus on the experience of the service. Asking me what you would offer, what types of alternative medicines, what mental/ spiritual approaches will you change, and how will this person be able to join back in society. I questioned myself a lot on these questions just because majority of this are based on the persons’ well-being and will of actually achieving sobriety. What I am trying to achieve is yes sobriety, along with living a healthy life style that the people can always come for support or help if needed.
Overall, I think this opened my eyes much more in the sense of what is actually important for this business to grow. I figured to possibly incorporate the insurance later on once the business is long enough established along with focusing on the hospitality and operations of the business. For this type of rehabilitation, the people want to feel loved and cared for because they have been neglected in some part of their life. I want to create a place where they can call home and also start a new life. Along with this I am going to incorporate doctors, nurses, psychologist, and animal therapy to join us.

14A- Halfway Reflection

14A- Halfway Reflection
1.    Tenaciousness is a competency. What are the behaviors that you have used (or developed) to keep up with the requirements of this course?
While in this course so far, I have noticed that I have to be on top of every single assignment and lecture. This has helped me in the future because if you are consistent and know what you want you will be great and achieve anything in this case try an achieve an A. I’ve had to learn have to allocate my time much better in the sense of working part-time and taking three other classes. It is difficult but since this class is an enjoyment for me, I do not mind the extra time or drive because it can potentially be something great.

2.    Tenaciousness is also about attitude. Talk about a moment or two when you felt like "giving up." What pulled you through? Do you feel like you've developed a tenacious attitude during the past two months? What experience or experiences most contributed to this?
A time that I felt like giving up on this class was literally the second week. I looked at the assignments and felt overwhelmed with the interviews, personal questions, and a topic that is important to me but I’m willing to change for the world. I really sat down and focused in is this worth it? Of course, later on here I am saying yes, it is worth it! I enjoyed every minute writing those comments, blogs, and just talking to people about my topic issue and others that I thought was interesting. My experiences not only from this class has helped me be determined and resilient no matter how large or tedious the assignment can be. I say it a minor setback but with major result at the end. Yes, it is cliché, but I really do believe in that for this class especially if you are serious about your business idea.

3.    What are three tips you would offer next semester's student about (1) fostering the skills that support tenacity and (2) developing the 'tenacious mindset’?
1.     Once you have found your “idea” go with it. It doesn’t matter how little or dumb or it's already on the market go with it and be different. There will always be someone that says the product or service is not good. If you have a solid idea push through.
2.     How I was able to create this mindset was just always being determined through sports and I carried it out through school. Try and reflect something as a hobby or something you enjoy doing and pretend that this class is that. You never know you might own your business that was truly your hobby.
3.     For this class watch the lectures! They are very funny, entertaining but the cupcakes change. I thought it was extra credit at first but until I reread the syllabus, I was clearly wrong. Overall just stay at least one week ahead so you know the content and can actually enjoy the lectures.
